This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

change file_system min_fs


The change file_system min_fs command is used to load or unload a mini file system to save the user data in an offline file system. Run the show file_system min_fs command to check the details.


change file_system min_fs action=? filesystem_id=?





action=? Operation type.

The value is "load" or "unload".

  • "load": loading.
  • "unload": unloading.
filesystem_id=? File system ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show file_system general" command.

Usage Guidelines

  • After this command is executed, dirty data in the cache of a storage system will be deleted. If you need to use the dirty data, run the "export file_system dirtydata" command to export it.
  • After the mini file system is loaded, use a share protocol to read and copy the data that is saved in the file system.


  • To load mini file system 1, run the following command:

    developer:/>change file_system min_fs action=load filesystem_id=1
    DANGER:You are about to load the file system in the minimum mode. This operation may delete the dirty data of the file system from cache.
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, check whether you need to use the dirty data. If you need to use the dirty data, export the dirty data first by running the export file_system dirtydata command.
    Have you read danger alert message carefully?(y/n)y
    Are you sure you really want to perform the operation?(y/n)y
    Command executed successfully.
  • To unload mini file system 1, run the following command:

    developer:/>change file_system min_fs action=unload filesystem_id=1
    Command executed successfully.
