This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

Usage Guidelines



Run the "showdisk" command to show the status of disks managed by the SES_A management system on a high-density disk enclosure.

System Response

The following table describes the parameter meanings.




Disk slot ID. The value ranges from 0 to 31.


Disk status. The value consists of digits and letters, or only digits. The digit indicates the data transfer rate of disks. 5 indicates 12 Gbit/s. 4 indicates 6 Gbit/s. 3 indicates 3 Gbit/ s. 2 indicates 1.5 Gbit/s. 1 indicates that a disk is present but the data transfer rate is 0. 0 indicates that no disk is present. The letter indicates the disk type. S indicates SAS disks. T indicates SATA disks.


Power status of the disk slot.

2 indicates that the disk slot is powered on.

3 indicates that the disk slot is powered off.

Vacant disk slots are powered off.


Present status of the disk. 0 indicates absent and 1 indicates present.
