This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

Function

The change slotcfg command is used to set or clear configuration information about a vacant slot.

Format

change slotcfg id=? { work_mode=? service_mode=? speed=? | clear_flag=? }

Parameters

Value

id=? Slot ID.

To obtain the value, run "show slotcfg enclosure_id=?" with parameters.

service_mode=? Application scenario.

The value can be "front-end", "back-end", or "scale-out".

speed=? Speed.

The value can be "8G", "10G", "25G", "32G", "40G", or "100G".

clear_flag=? Clearing configuration flag.

The value can be "yes" or none.

work_mode=? Working mode.

The value can be "FC", "Ethernet", or "RoCE".

Usage Guidelines

OceanStor 18500 V5 Kunpeng, 18500F V5 Kunpeng, 18800 V5 Kunpeng and 18800F V5 Kunpeng storage systems support this command.

Example

  • Set configuration information about a vacant slot whose working mode is set to the Ethernet mode, application scenario to front-end modules, and speed to 100 Gbit/s.

    developer:/>change slotcfg id=CTE0.IOM.H1 work_mode=Ethernet service_mode=front-end speed=100G
    DANGER: You are about to set configuration information about the slot.
    This operation may affect the replacement of spare interface modules.
    Suggestion:
    1. Before performing this operation, ensure that you have correctly selected the vacant slot to be configured.
    2. After performing this operation, insert the spare interface module into the slot.
    Have you read danger alert message carefully?(y/n)y
    Are you sure you really want to perform the operation?(y/n)y
    Command executed successfully.
  • Clear configuration information about a vacant slot.

     
    developer:/>change slotcfg id=CTE0.IOM.H1 clear_flag=yes
