This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

change space grain


The change space grain command is used to set the switch of emergency space in a file system.


change space grain controller=? file_system_id=? switch=?





controller=? Controller ID.

The value is in the format of "XA", "XB", "XC", or "XD", where the "X" is an integer ranging from 0 to 3, for example, "0A", "1C".

file_system_id=? File system ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show file_system general" command without parameters.

switch=? Whether emergency space is enabled.

The value can be "on" or "off", where:

  • "on": Emergency space is enabled.
  • "off": Emergency space is disabled.

  • Before running this command, ensure that the file system ID is correct.
  • Before running this command, ensure that the working controller ID of the file system is correct.


Enable emergency space in file system "0".
