This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

Function

The spa exportimportextent command is used to export or import information about the metadata on the extent.

Format

spa exportimportextent -x operation type -p pool id -v volume id -e extent id -s offset -l data length -f file name [ -i operation object ]

Parameters

Parameter

Description

Value

operation type Operation type.

The value can be "1" or "2", where:

  • "1": Export.
  • "2": Import.
pool id Disk domain ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show disk_domain general" command.

volume id Volume ID.

To obtain the value, run the "spa queryvolcap" command.

extent id Extent ID.

The value can be "0", "1", or "2", where:

  • "0": Root extent 0.
  • "1": Root extent 1.
  • "2": Root extent 2.
offset Offset.

data length Data length.

The value is an integer ranging from "0" to "4096".

file saved address File saved address.

operation object Operation object.

The value can be "0", "1", "2", "3", or "4", where:

  • "0": Metadata information is exported from the metadata member disk object whose number is "0".
  • "1": Metadata information is exported from metadata member disk object whose number is "1".
  • "2": Metadata information is exported from metadata member disk object whose number is "2".
  • "3": Metadata information is exported from metadata member disk object whose number is "3".
  • "4": Metadata information is imported to all four metadata member disk objects.
NOTE:
The information is exported from or imported to the cache object by default when the value is not input.
