change remote_device degrade_param

Function

The change remote_device degrade_param command is used to set parameters for degrading a replication links between private disk arrays.

Format

change remote_device degrade_param remote_device_id=? degrade_switch=? [ time_out_threshold=? ] [ io_error_threshold=? ] [ degrade_period=? ] [ recover_period=? ] [ detect_msg_size=? ]

remote_device_id Remote device ID.

The value ranges from 0 to 511.

degrade_switch Degrade switch.

On/Off.

degrade_period Degrade period.

The value ranges from 1 to 6000, (Unit: s).

recover_period Degrade recovery period.

The value ranges from 2 to 30000, which should be greater than the degrade period. (Unit: s).

io_error_threshold Degrade threshold of error I/Os.

The value ranges from 1 to 2000.

time_out_threshold Degrade threshold of I/O timeout.

The value ranges from 1 to 500.

detect_msg_size Size of packets detected after link degrade.

The value ranges from 4 to 1024.

Usage Guidelines

The parameters for degrading a replication link are changed based on the actual network to accurately identify and degrade the faulty link.

Example

Change the switch and parameters for degrading the replication link.
