This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

change file_system vstore


The change file_system vstore command is used to change the owning vStore of a file system.


change file_system vstore file_system_id=? type=? [ vstore_id=? ]





file_system_id=? File system ID.

The value is an integer from 0 to 65535.

type=? Target vStore type.

The value can be:

  • "system": The target vStore is the default system vStore.
  • "vstore": The target vStore is not the default system vStore.
vstore_id=? Target vStore ID.

The value ranges from 1 to 511. To obtain the value, run the show vstore command without parameters.

Change the owning vStore of file system 0 to the default system vStore.

developer:/>change file_system vstore file_system_id=0 type=system
WARNING:You are about to change the vStore to which the file system belongs. Pay attention to the following points:
If NAS share, antivirus, HyperMetro, or SmartTier services are configured for the file system, delete these services before changing the owning vStore.
1. After the owning vStore is changed, check whether NAS share, antivirus, HyperMetro, or SmartTier services of the file system exist in the original vStore. If yes, delete them.
2. After the owning vStore is changed, reconfigure NAS share, antivirus, NDMP, HyperMetro, or SmartTier services for the file system.
