This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

show ddp chunk_meta


The show ddp chunkmeta command is used to query the details about deduplication and compression metadata, including deduplication flag, compression flag, fingerprint information, and data verification value.


show ddp chunk_meta domain_id=? chunk_id=? controller=?





domain_id=? ID of the domain that you want to query.

To obtain the value, run the "show file_system general" or "show lun dedup_compress" command.

chunk_id=? ID of the chunk that you want to query.

The value ranges from 1 to 18446744073709551615.

controller=? Controller ID.

The value is in the format of "XA" or "XB" or "XC" or "XD", where the "X" is an integer ranging from 0 to 3, for example: "0A", "1C".

Usage Guidelines

  • Before running this command, confirm that you have selected the correct domain ID and chunk ID.
  • When runnning this command, specify a controller ID.


To query the information about the deduplication and compression metadata whose domain ID is "0" and chunk ID is "1024".

Chunk verification value.


Chunk fingerprint.

Reference Count

Chunk reference count.

Is Compressed

Whether a chunk is compressed.

Is Deduped

Whether a chunk is deduplicated.

Compress Index

Compressed chunk index.

Compress Number

Compression number.

Ditto Flag

Redundant chunk flag.

Logic Length

Original data length of a chunk. Unit: section.

Transaction Number

Chunk flushing transaction ID.

Checksum Flag

Verification flag.
