Function

The clear hyper_metro_consistency_group db command is used to forcibly delete the DB information about a specific HyperMetro consistency group.

You can export CCDB and check incorrect indexes.

Usage Guidelines

  • Do not use this command without R&D engineers' guidance. This command can be used to delete HyperMetro consistency group configurations only when the DB of a HyperMetro pair is incorrect and the HyperMetro consistency group cannot be deleted in the user view. Do not use this command in other scenarios.
  • Restart the system after running this command.

Example

Delete the DB information about the HyperMetro consistency group whose local ID is "0" and DB index is "0".

DANGER: You are about to forcibly maintain configurations of the HyperMetro consistency group. This operation makes the HyperMetro consistency group unavailable.  
When a HyperMetro consistency group object cannot be deleted normally, you can perform this operation to forcibly delete a single configuration of the HyperMetro consistency group.  
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, contact R&D engineers and complete all operations under their guidance. In the mean time, ensure that:  
1. No other users are performing configuration operations.  
2. Host I/Os to the member LUNs of the HyperMetro consistency group have been stopped.  
3. The entered parameters are correct.
