This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

delete clone_dcl


The delete clone_dcl command is used to forcibly delete the DCL information of a specified clone on a specified LUN.


delete clone_dcl lun_id=? dcl_id=?





lun_id=? Indicates the ID of a LUN.

To obtain the value, run "show lun general".

dcl_id=? Indicates the ID of a DCL.

To obtain the value, run "dcl showdclid".

Usage Guidelines

  • Do not use this command without R&D engineers' guidance.
  • This command can only be used when a clone with incorrect DB information cannot be deleted on the CLI. Do not use this command in other scenarios.
  • This command must be used with the "delete clone_db" command. Restart the system after running the commands.


To delete the DCL information of clone 3 on LUN 0, run the following command.

developer:/>delete clone_dcl lun_id=0 dcl_id=3
DANGER: You are clearing the clone DCL of a specified LUN, this operation will forcibly delete the DCL of clone.
