change iod schedule_information

Function

The change iod schedule_information command is used to set the information about IOD load-aware scheduling.

Format

change iod schedule_information { mode=? | concurrency=? | exec_percent=? | idle_percent=? }*

mode

Scheduling working mode.

The value can be "NORMAL" or "AUTOMATIC", where:

  • "NORMAL": The IOD works in normal mode. In this mode, manual scheduling switching and normal scheduling are used.
  • "AUTOMATIC": The IOD works in automatic mode. In this mode, automatic load-aware switching is used and the scheduling mode is automatically adjusted according to loads.

concurrency

Concurrency threshold.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 10000000.

exec_percent

Execution rate threshold.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 100.

idle_percent

Threshold of the zero-I/O rate.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 100.

Usage Guidelines

This command is used to set the information about IOD load-aware scheduling.

Example

  • Set the IOD load-aware scheduling working mode to NORMAL.
    developer:/>change iod schedule_information mode=NORMAL 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Set the concurrency threshold of IOD load-aware scheduling to 10.
    developer:/>change iod schedule_information concurrency=10 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Set the execution rate threshold of IOD load-aware scheduling to 25.
    developer:/>change iod schedule_information exec_percent=25 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Set the zero-I/O rate threshold of IOD load-aware scheduling to 70.
