This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

Function

The dmi.sh command is used to run commands related to the DMI module.

Format

dmi.sh {showbbustatus}

dmi.sh {setintfcardinfo}

showbbustatus Shows the status of all BBUs visible to the local controller.

-a Command help information, displaying the help information about each subcommand.

setintfcardinfo Sets interface module information.

"slotid": The slot ID of an interface module ranges from 0 to 27.

"serv": The application scenario includes 1 to 3 corresponding to the front-end, back-end, and switching.

"speed": 10: 8 Gbit/s; 11: 10 Gbit/s; 13: 16 Gbit/s; 16: 40 Gbit/s; 18: 25 Gbit/s; 19: 32 Gbit/s; 21: 100 Gbit/s.

"workmode":1: Fibre Channel ; 4: ETH; 5: RoCE.

Usage Guidelines

The "dmi.sh" command is used to query the BBU status and set interface module information in special scenarios. The functions are as follows:

  • Queries the status and remaining power of all BBUs visible to the local controller.
  • Sets the interface module information, including the application scenario, speed, and working mode.

Example

  • Show the status of all BBUs visible to the local controller.

    Storage: minisystem> dmi.sh showbbustatus
