This document is applicable to OceanStor 18500 V5, 18800 V5, 18500F V5, and 18800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

create third_party_policy provider


The create third_party_policy provider command is used to create server information about a third-party policy.


create third_party_policy provider policy_name=? server_ips=? port=?





policy_name=? Policy name.

The value contains 1 to 31 characters including only letters (case insensitive), digits, and underscores (_).

server_ips=? IP address list of a third-party server.

The value is an IPv4 address.

port=? Port number of a third-party server.

The value range is 1 to 65535.

Parameters "policy_name=?", "server_ips=?" and "port=?" are mandatory.


  • Create server information about a third-party policy.

    developer:/>create third_party_policy provider policy_name=test address= port=1 
    Command executed successfully.
  • Query creation results.

    developer:/>show third_party_policy provider policy_name=test
    Policy ID: 1
    Policy Name: test
    Server IPs:
    Port: 1
