delete fs_private_snapshot force


The delete fs_private_snapshot force command is used to forcibly delete the private snapshots of a file system.


delete fs_private_snapshot force snapshot_id=? incremental_backup_snap=?





snapshot_id=? ID of the file system private snapshot.

To obtain the value, run "show fs_snapshot general".

incremental_backup_snap Whether the snapshot is an incremental backup snapshot.

The value can be "true" or "false", where:

  • "true": The snapshot is an incremental backup snapshot.
  • "false": The snapshot is not an incremental backup snapshot.

Before running this command, check whether the ID of the private snapshot is correct.


Delete file system private snapshot 0@snap1.

admin:/>delete fs_private_snapshot force snapshot_id=0@snap1 incremental_backup_snap=false
WARNING: You are about to run the command to forcibly delete private snapshots of a file system. Private snapshots are used in other services (such as incremental backup and HyperMetro). Deleting private snapshots may cause exceptions on these services.
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that you have selected the correct file system private snapshot.
