Function

The change system background_space_management command is used to set the global switch of allocating and reclaiming CKGs in the background.

Format

change system background_space_management { alloc_ckg_switch=? | reclaim_ckg_switch=? }

alloc_ckg_switch=?

Status of the CKG allocation switch.

The value can be "on" or "off", where:

  • "on": turns on the switch of allocating CKGs in the background.
  • "off": turns off the switch of allocating CKGs in the background.

reclaim_ckg_switch=?

Status of the CKG reclaiming switch.

The value can be "on" or "off", where:

  • "on": turns on the switch of reclaiming CKGs in the background.
  • "off": turns off the switch of reclaiming CKGs in the background.

Example

Set the global switch of allocating and reclaiming CKGs in the background to "on".
