Usage Guidelines

  • Do not use this command without R&D engineers' guidance.
  • Executing the command may cause link reconnection that interrupts services.
  • This command is invalid for interface cards using TCP offload engine(TOE) function.
  • This command is applicable to the scenario where the network latency is larger than 5 ms and smaller than 200 ms and the packet loss rate is smaller than 5%. It is recommended to deploy the replication link in parallel networking mode.

Example

Enable the function of optimizing iSCSI link transmission for the remote device whose ID is "0".

developer:/>change remote_device transport_optimize remote_device_id=0 optimize_enabled=yes
WARNING: You are about to configure the function of optimizing transmission for remote devices. This operation may cause the iSCSI link to reconnect and interrupt services.
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, confirm that multiple replication links are normally connected.
Have you read warning message carefully?(y/n)y
