This document is applicable to OceanStor 5110 V5, 5110F V5, 5300 V5, 5500 V5, 5600 V5, 5800 V5, 6800 V5, 5300F V5, 5500F V5, 5600F V5, 5800F V5, and 6800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

remove system management_ip


The remove system management_ip command is used to remove the IP properties of management ports.


remove system management_ip eth_port_id=? ip_type=?






ID of the management port whose IP address configurations you want to delete.

To obtain the value, run "show port general".


Type of the management port's IP address that you want to delete.

The value can be:

  • "ipv4_address": The IPv4 address of the management port is deleted.
  • "ipv6_address": The IPv6 address of the management port is deleted.

OceanStor 5500 V5 Elite/5110 V5/5300 V5 storage systems support this command.


Delete the IPv4 address of management port "CTE0.A.H4". The port ID varies depending on product models.

developer:/>remove system management_ip eth_port_id=CTE0.A.H4 ip_type=ipv4_address  
DANGER: You are about to delete the IP address configurations of the management port. This operation makes users unable to log in to the storage system using the management port. 
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the IP address configurations of the management port need to be deleted.
