This document is applicable to OceanStor 5110 V5, 5110F V5, 5300 V5, 5500 V5, 5600 V5, 5800 V5, 6800 V5, 5300F V5, 5500F V5, 5600F V5, 5800F V5, and 6800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

delete disklog


The delete disklog command is used to delete specified logs of a disk.


delete disklog disk_domain_id=? disk_id=? log_type=? [ ckg_object_id=? ] [ lba=? ] [ length=? ]






Disk domain ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show disk_domain general" command in the guest view.


Disk ID.

To obtain the value, run the "disklog show" command in the diagnose view of the developer view.


Indicates where the logs are saved.

The value can be "rootckg" or "db", where:

  • "rootckg": Logs are saved in Rootckg.
  • "db": Logs are saved in DB.


Chunk group ID. If this parameter is specified, the "lba" parameter is mandatory.

To obtain the value, run the "ckgiof luntrans" command in the diagnose view of the developer view.


LBA. If this parameter is specified, the "length" parameter is mandatory.

The value must be smaller than the maximum capacity of a disk (unit: sector).


Log length.

The value depends on the capacity of a disk (unit: sector).

Usage Guidelines



Delete the logs whose length is "8" and LBA is "7077888", saved in rootckg, from member disk "522" of CKG "70434275999744" (hexadecimal: "400F42004000").

DANGER: You are going to delete a bad block tag. The data in the range indicated by the bad block tag is unreadable, which becomes readable when the tag is deleted. However, the data that is read from this range may be old incorrect data. 
Suggestion: Before you perform this operation, ensure that you have selected the correct unnecessary bad block tag.
