Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

show share cifs


The show share cifs command is used to query a CIFS share.


show share cifs [ share_id=? | file_system_id=? | share_type=? ]






Indicates the ID of the CIFS share.

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 18446744073709551615.


Indicates the ID of the file system.

The value is an integer between 0 and 65535.


Indicates the type of the CIFS share.

The value can be "normal", "homedir", or "all", where:

  • "normal": normal share.
  • "homedir": homedir share.
  • "all": all shares.

The default value is "normal".

Usage Guidelines

"share_id", "file_system_id", and "share_type" are mutually exclusive.

Share ID

Indicates the share ID.


Indicates the share name.

File System ID

Indicates the file system associated with the CIFS.

Local Path

Indicates the local path directory.


Indicates the description information.

Oplock Enabled

Indicates the switch of the opportunistic locking. By using opportunistic locking, a client can lock a file. A server can cancel the locking.

Notify Enabled

Indicates the switch of the notify function.

Continue Available Enabled

Indicates the switch of the continue available function.

ABE Enabled

Indicates the switch of the permission-based directory enumeration.

IP Access Control

Indicates the switch of the IP access control.

Smb2 CA Enabled

Indicates the switch of the SMB2 continuous available function.

Offline File Mode

Offline cache mode.

Audit Items

Audit log option.

File Extenson Filter

Switch of filtering file name extensions.

Apply Default ACL

Application of the default ACL switch in the shared root directory.

Share Type

Indicates the type of the CIFS share.

Show Previous Versions Enabled

Function of showing previous versions.

Show Snapshot Enabled

Function of showing the .snapshot folder.

Browse Enabled

Indicates the switch to browse the share.

Readdir Timeout(s)

Timeout duration of the readdir command when directories are enumerated.
