Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

change system cache

Function

The change system cache command is used to set the cache's high and low watermarks. After the high and low watermarks are set, the storage system synchronizes the dirty data from the cache to hard disks based on the settings.

change system cache { high_water_level=? | low_water_level=? } *

The value is an integer ranging from 2 to 90.

low_water_level=?

Percentage of the low watermark.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 80.

Usage Guidelines

  • If the watermarks are set improperly, system performance may be affected.
  • Before running this command, ensure that the watermarks are set properly. It is recommended that the percentage of the low watermark range from 20 to 40 and that of the high watermark range from 70 to 90.
  • The percentage of the high watermark must be greater than that of the low watermark.

Example

To set the percentage of the high watermark to "80%" and that of the low watermark to "30%", run the following command.
