This document is applicable to OceanStor 5110 V5, 5110F V5, 5300 V5, 5500 V5, 5600 V5, 5800 V5, 6800 V5, 5300F V5, 5500F V5, 5600F V5, 5800F V5, and 6800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

delete hypervault rss_type

Function

The delete hypervault rss_type command is used to forcibly delete value-added HyperVault information from a specified file system.

Format

delete hypervault rss_type hypervault_id=? file_system_id=? role=?

Parameters

hypervault_id=?

ID of the HyperVault object.

To obtain the value, run the "show hypervault general" command without parameters.

file_system_id=?

File system ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show file_system general" command.

role=?

File system type.

The value can be "primary" or "secondary", where

  • primary: the file system is the primary file system of the HyperVault pair.
  • secondary: the file system is the secondary file system of the HyperVault pair.

Usage Guidelines

  • Do not use this command without R&D engineers' guidance. This command can only be used to delete the HyperVault configuration when the HyperVault database encounters errors and you cannot delete HyperVault pairs on the CLI. Do not use this command in other scenarios.
  • This command must be used with the "delete hypervault_db general", "delete hypervault service_db", and "delete hypervault dcl" commands. Restart the system after running the commands.

Example

Deleting value-added information about the HyperVault pair whose ID is "9747215445131264" from the primary file system whose ID is 5.

DANGER: You are about to forcibly maintain HyperVault.This operation will cause the corresponding value-added pair to be unavailable. 
This operation enables you to forcibly delete the configuration information about a single item of HyperVault if HyperVault objects cannot be deleted properly. 
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, contract R&D engineers, perform all procedures under their guidance, and confirm the operation. 
1. The system is not configured by other users. 
2. The parameter values that are entered are correct.
