This document is applicable to OceanStor 5110 V5, 5110F V5, 5300 V5, 5500 V5, 5600 V5, 5800 V5, 6800 V5, 5300F V5, 5500F V5, 5600F V5, 5800F V5, and 6800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

Function

The change space rescue_config command is used to set the configuration information about the rescue.

Format

change space rescue_config controller=? key=? value=?

controller=?

Controller ID.

The value is in the format of "XA", "XB", "XC", or "XD", where "X" indicates an integer from "0" to "3", for example, "0A" or "1C".

key=?

Configurable parameter in the rescue configuration.

The value can be "fs_pthreads", "fs_one_pthread_items", "fs_hmode_cthreads", "fs_hmode_one_cthread_items", "fs_nmode_cthreads", "fs_nmode_one_cthread_items", "lun_hmode_threads", "lun_hmode_one_thread_items", "lun_nmode_threads", "lun_nmode_one_thread_items", "force_stop_lun_rescue_task", or "force_stop_fs_rescue_task", where:

  • "fs_pthreads":number of the producer threads for the file system rescue task.
  • "fs_one_pthread_items":number of items processed in each producer thread for the file system rescue task.
  • "fs_hmode_cthreads":number of consumer threads for the file system rescue task in high speed mode.
  • "fs_hmode_one_cthread_items":number of items processed in each consumer thread for the file system rescue task in high speed mode.
  • "fs_nmode_cthreads":number of consumer threads for the file system rescue task in normal mode.
  • "fs_nmode_one_cthread_items":number of items processed in each consumer thread for the file system rescue task in normal mode.
  • "lun_hmode_threads":number of threads for the rescue task of the deduplication and compression LUN in high speed mode.
  • "lun_hmode_one_thread_items":number of items processed in each thread for the rescue task of the deduplication and compression LUN in high speed mode.
  • "lun_nmode_threads":number of threads for the rescue task of the deduplication and compression LUN in normal mode.
  • "lun_nmode_one_thread_items":number of items processed in each thread for the rescue task of the deduplication and compression LUN in normal mode.
  • "force_stop_lun_rescue_task":forcibly stop the rescue task of the deduplication and compression LUN.
  • "force_stop_fs_rescue_task":forcibly stop the rescue task of the file system.

Value of the configurable parameter in the rescue configuration.

  • The value of "fs_pthreads" is an integer ranging from "8" to "32".
  • The value of "fs_one_pthread_items" is an integer ranging from "32" to "128".
  • The value of "fs_hmode_cthreads" is an integer ranging from "64" to "256".
  • The value of "fs_hmode_one_cthread_items" is an integer ranging from "64" to "128".
  • The value of "fs_nmode_cthreads" is an integer ranging from "32" to "64".
  • The value of "fs_nmode_one_cthread_items" is an integer ranging from "32" to "64".

Usage Guidelines

Before running this command, ensure that the working controller ID of the file system is correct.

Example

  • Set the "force_stop_lun_rescue_task" configuration parameter of the rescue to "1".
    developer:/>change space rescue_config controller=0A key=force_stop_lun_rescue_task value=1 
    DANGER:You are about to configure the operating parameters of the rescue task for the file system and deduplication and compression LUN. 
    1. The configured parameters take effect in the memory only.  
    2. Incorrect configurations may lower the rescue speed or compromise performance. 
    Suggestion: 
    1. Before performing this operation, run the command to configure parameters (except the "force_stop_lun_rescue_task" and "force_stop_fs_rescue_task" parameters) of the rescue task for the file system and deduplication and compression LUN. 
    2. Enter the working controller ID for the controller ID.
