show disk_domain format_mode


The show disk_domain format_mode command is used to query the formatting mode of a specified disk domain.


show disk_domain format_mode disk_domain_id=?






Disk domain ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show disk_domain general" command.

  • Query the formatting mode of the disk domain whose ID is 0.
    developer:/>show disk_domain format_mode disk_domain_id=0 
    Format Mode               : Unified Format 
    Reclaim Extent Format Type: --
  • Query the formatting mode of the disk domain whose ID is 1.
    developer:/>show disk_domain format_mode disk_domain_id=1 
    Format Mode               : Disk Extent Mix Format 
    Reclaim Extent Format Type: Disk Format

Format Mode

Formatting mode. The value can be "Unified Format" or "Disk Extent Mix Format", where:

  • "Unified Format": unified formatting mode.
  • "Disk Extent Mix Format": mixed formatting mode of disks and extents.

Reclaim Extent Format Type

Formatting mode of extent reclamation. The value can be "Disk Format" or "Extent Format", where:

  • "Extent Format": The EXTENT module performs formatting during extent reclamation.
  • "Disk Format": Disks perform formatting during extent reclamation.
  • "--": None.
