This document is applicable to OceanStor 5110 V5, 5110F V5, 5300 V5, 5500 V5, 5600 V5, 5800 V5, 6800 V5, 5300F V5, 5500F V5, 5600F V5, 5800F V5, and 6800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

The sysforcepoweron command is used to set the forcible power-on switch of the system control module.


sysforcepoweron [ switch flag ]





switch flag

Forcible power-on switch flag.

The value is 0 or 1.

  • 0: open, indicates that the switch is on. Some check items are ignored when the system control module powers on the system and the system will be forcibly powered on.
  • 1: close, indicates that the switch is off.


Minisystem mode

Usage Guidelines

  • After this command is executed, the memory fault check during power-on will be skipped.
  • The power-on may fail due to inconsistent memory.
  • The forced power-on may result in service interruption.


Set the forcible power-on switch of the system control module.

Storage: minisystem> sysforcepoweron 0 
admin:/diagnose>sys setforcepoweronswitch 0 
Set force power on switch flag : open. 
Storage: minisystem> sysforcepoweron 1 
admin:/diagnose>sys setforcepoweronswitch 1 
Set force power on switch flag : close.
