This document is applicable to OceanStor 5110 V5, 5110F V5, 5300 V5, 5500 V5, 5600 V5, 5800 V5, 6800 V5, 5300F V5, 5500F V5, 5600F V5, 5800F V5, and 6800F V5. Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functionsand how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands.

delete clone_db

Function

The delete clone_db command is used to forcibly delete the DB information about a specified clone.

Format

delete clone_db type=? [ clone_id=? ] [ pair_id=? ] [ lun_id=? ]

Parameters

Value

type=?

Indicates the DB type you want to delete.

The value can be "clone", "pair", or "lun".

clone_id=?

Indicates the ID of clone.

Run "show clone general" to obtain the value.

pair_id=?

Indicates the ID of clone pair.

Run "show clone secondary_lun clone_id" to obtain the value.

lun_id=?

Indicates the ID of LUN.

Run "show clone secondary_lun clone_id" to obtain the value.

Usage Guidelines

  • Do not use this command without R&D engineers' guidance.
  • This command can only be used when a clone with incorrect DB information cannot be deleted on the CLI. Do not use this command in other scenarios.
  • This command must be used with the "delete clone_rsstype" command. Restart the system after running the commands.

Example

  • To delete the DB information about clone group 0, run the following command:
    developer:/>delete clone_db type=clone clone_id=0 
    DANGER: You are clearing the DB information about clone, this operation will forcibly delete DB information about clone. 
    Suggestion: Before you perform this operation, please contact technical support engineers. 
    Have you read danger alert message carefully?(y/n)y  
      
    Are you sure you really want to perform the operation?(y/n)y 
    Command executed successfully.
  • To delete the DB information about clone pair 1, run the following command:
    developer:/>delete clone_db type=pair pair_id=1 
    DANGER: You are clearing the DB information about clone, this operation will forcibly delete DB information about clone. 
    Suggestion: Before you perform this operation, please contact technical support engineers.

  • To delete the DB information about the clone group and pair index saved on LUN 2, run the following command:
    developer:/>delete clone_db type=lun lun_id=2
