Using Applications on an iOS Device

Scenarios

After the application virtualization feature is deployed on the system side, you can access and use applications or shared desktops from the web interface (WI) after logging in to the system using an iOS mobile device.

This task only supports mobile devices that run iOS 8.0 to 12.3.

NOTE:

The data and specific procedure of the initial configuration can be customized based on the actual situation.

Procedure

Set iOS login parameters.

  1. Search fusionaccess in the App Store.
  2. Download and install the fusionaccess application software.
  3. Tap the fusionaccess application to go to the login screen, and tap .

    The Accounts screen is displayed.

  4. Tap in the upper right corner.

    The New Account screen is displayed.

  5. Enter the cloud server address in Address and tap Next.
  6. Set the description information, username, password, and domain name, and tap Save, as shown in Figure 5-1.

    NOTE:

    In multi-domain scenarios, enter the correct domain information to ensure successful login, for example, vdesktop.huawei.com.

    NOTE:

    The cloud server address is the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) or the service plane IP address of the WI server. If the FQDN is used, configure the DNS server address first.

Log in to the WI.

  1. Return to the login screen, and tap the account.

    The Favorite screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 5-2.

Use an application.

  1. Tap Favorite or Apps to go to the related screen.
  2. Tap the required application to run and use the application.

Use a shared desktop.

  1. Go to the Apps screen and tap .
  2. Go to the Favorite screen and tap Windows Desktop in the Favorite list.

    The shared desktop can be used.
