Configuring the VNC Login Mode

Configuring the VNC Login Mode

On FusionCompute, configure the virtual network computing (VNC) login mode. You can select the default VNC login mode used by the browser. The configuration takes effect immediately. After you clear the browser cache, the configuration is reset.

This operation applies to FusionSphere V100R005C10U1 or later only.

You have logged in to the FusionCompute.

  1. On FusionCompute, choose System > Service Configuration > VNC Configuration.

The VNC Configuration page is displayed.

  2. Select the VNC login mode in the Login Configuration area.

    • New: This mode takes a short time in login, provides high security, but requires Internet Explorer 10 or 11, Mozilla Firefox 34 or later, or Google Chrome 31 or later.
    • Old: This mode allows VM stopping and restart operations, requires a Java plug-in.

  3. Click OK.

A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  4. Click OK.

The configuration for the VNC login mode is complete.
