Logging In to a Desktop Using a Chrome Device

Scenarios

This section describes how to log in to a user VM from a Chrome device in domain authentication mode.

Prerequisites

Conditions

  • You have obtained the cloud server address, that is, the FQDN or service plane IP address of the WI server.
  • You have obtained the username and password for logging in to the WI.

Procedure

Install the AccessClient.

NOTE:

You must install the AccessClient when logging in to a virtual desktop for the first time. After logging in to the virtual desktop, click click here to go to chrome web store, select the AccessClient, and click ADD TO CHROME to download it.

  1. Open a browser on the Chrome device.
  2. Enter https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/apps?hl=en.

    chrome web store is displayed.

  3. In the search the store area, type AccessClient and press Enter.
  4. In App Results on the right, select AccessClient and click ADD TO CHROME.
  5. In the displayed dialog box, click Add app.

    The application is added.

  6. In the address box, type the address of the cloud server and press Enter.

    For example, https://cloud.huawei.com or 192.168.10.12.

Log in to a VM.

  1. Enter the correct username and password, and press Enter.
  2. Click the VM icon to log in to the virtual desktop.
