Importing Web Certificates

Importing Web Certificates

To ensure communication security, import web certificates, including the trusted CA file, local certificate file, local private key file, and local private key password file, to the endpoint through the endpoint web interface.

  • Professional guidance is required for importing certificates. Ensure that the certificate to be imported matches the certificate type selected; otherwise, the endpoint may malfunction.
  • When applying for a certificate, specify its validity period (recommended: no more than 36 months). Import the certificate you have applied for at your first login to the endpoint web interface. Besides, replace the certificate that is to be expired in time to prevent security risks.
  • The certificate to be imported must be in .cer, .pem, .pfx, .p7b, .p7c, .spc, .p12, .der, or .crt format.
  1. Choose System Settings > Installation.

    The Installation page is displayed.

  2. Click Import Web Certificate.

    The Import Web Certificate dialog box is displayed.

  3. Click and select a certificate type.
  4. Click , select the certificate you want to import, and click Import.
  5. Click Return when OK is displayed.

    After importing the web certificate, click Update Web Certificates and restart the endpoint as prompted for the web certificate to take effect.
