Disabling TLS 1.0

Disabling TLS 1.0

The endpoint allows logins from the web interface, touch panel, and third-party client that have TLS 1.0 enabled only. However, these logins create security risks to the endpoint. To address this problem, you are advised to disable TLS 1.0 on the endpoint to forbid such logins.

The touch panel that runs on Android 4.1 or an earlier version can connect to the endpoint only after TLS1.0 is set to Enable.

  1. On the web interface, choose System Settings > Security > Web Login and set TLS1.0 to Disable.
  2. Restart the endpoint.

In this case, the web interface, touch panel, or third-party client that supports only TLS 1.0 login will fail to connect to the endpoint.
