User Interface

This section describes the conferencing screen and menu screen of the user interface operated using the remote control.

Conferencing Screen

Power on the display and the endpoint. Then you will see the conferencing screen shown in Figure 1-2.

  • To access the conferencing screen, press or on the remote control.
  • To move the Conference Schedules, Call, or Conference History window to the middle, press the left or right arrow key on the remote control. A window moved to the middle can be operated on the remote control.

Menu Screen

To access the menu screen shown in Figure 1-3, press on the remote control. To select menu items, press the up and down arrow keys on the remote control.

  • To hide the option bar, press or on the remote control. To show the option bar, press on the remote control.
  • Select from the option bar and press on the remote control. On the Customize Option Bar screen that is displayed, you can move upward and downward, hide, or display icons on the option bar. You need to enter the password of the remote control administrator to access the Customize Option Bar screen. The default password is 12345678. To ensure account security, you are advised to change the password at the first login and regularly change the password afterward.
  • Select Advanced from the option bar and press on the remote control. On the Advanced screen that is displayed, you can configure the endpoint. By default, you do not need to enter any password to access the Advanced screen. However, the password is required when you access the Settings screen from the Advanced screen and Customize Option Bar screen from the option bar. If the remote control administrator has selected Encryption advanced settings under Advanced > Settings > Security > Password, you need to enter the password of the remote control administrator to access the Advanced screen and Customize Option Bar screen from the option bar, but do not need to enter any password to access the Settings screen.
  • If the password of the remote control administrator is empty, you can access all screens without entering any password.
