Checking the System Status

Checking the System Status

To ensure that your endpoint runs properly, check its system status regularly.

Context

The items to check include:

  • Line status: IPv4, IPv6, Network interface mode, WLAN, GK, H.323 number, SIP site number, PSTN status, Remote PSTN number, Running duration, and Camera status
  • Input port: Input Interface Status, USB 1 port, USB 2 port, and Air Content Sharing

Checking the Line Status

To check the line status, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the endpoint web interface as the administrator.
  2. Choose Maintenance > System Status.

    The System Status page is displayed.

  3. Click the Line Status tab and check the line status, as shown in Figure 6-1.

  4. If any exception is found, tackle it in time.

Checking the Input Port Status

To check the input port status, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the endpoint web interface as the administrator.
  2. Choose Maintenance > System Status.

    The System Status page is displayed.

  3. Click the Input Interface Status tab and check the input port status, as shown in Figure 6-2.

  4. If any exception is found, tackle it in time.
