Logging In to the Web Interface

Logging In to the Web Interface

You can remotely manage the endpoint after logging in to the endpoint web interface.

Prerequisites

Before running the endpoint web interface on a web browser, configure the browser. For details, see Configuring the Browser.

Procedure

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. In the address box, enter the endpoint IP address, such as 192.168.1.1.
  3. Press Enter.

    The login page is displayed.

  4. Fill in User name and Password.

    NOTE:
    • The default user name and password are admin and Change_Me respectively. You are advised to change the default password the first time you log in to the web interface, and then change your password regularly.
    • If you forget only the web login password, use the debug account to log in to the endpoint and run the web password command to change the web login password. For the detailed procedure of login using the debug account, see Performing SSH Access Control. For details about CLI operations, see TE30&TE40&TE50&TE60&TX50&RP100&RP200 Command Reference.
    • If you forget the passwords of all accounts, restore the endpoint to its factory settings when the endpoint is running. For the TE30, keep holding the MODE button for 10s and then release it; for the TE40, TE50, TE60, or TX50, keep holding the RESET button for 10s and then release it.
