Using the Touch Panel

Each camera preset stores the pan, tilt, and zoom settings of the camera.

Saving a Preset

If you select a preset number that has already been saved as another preset, the new camera preset replaces the existing one.

On the user interface, choose Settings > Security > Web Login and select Monitor video to save pictures captured at camera presets.

  • You can save a maximum of 30 presets for the local camera and a maximum of 6 presets for a remote camera. indicates that a preset is saved here, and indicates that no preset is saved here.

  • The Monitor video function involves personal privacy. Ensure that its use complies with local laws and regulations.

To save a camera preset:

  1. Tap to display the Control Camera window.
  2. Select the local camera or a remote camera.


    To control the local camera, select Local Camera. To control a remote camera, select Remote Camera.

  3. Select an input port from the Current Camera drop-down list box.
  4. On the camera preset list, with the camera in the desired position, tap and hold an unused number for about 3 seconds to save the preset.

Switching to Another Preset

If you have saved camera presets to the endpoint, you can tap a preset number to apply that preset to the camera.

To move a camera to a preset:

  1. On the Control Camera screen, tap Presets.
  2. Slide to find the input port selected on the Presets screen and select it.
  3. On the camera preset list, tap a preset number to move the camera to that preset.
