Performing U-Boot Operations (TE40&TE50&TE60&TX50 Only)

After logging in to the U-Boot using the serial port tool, you can execute desired commands.

  1. Use a serial cable to connect the serial port on the computer to the COM1 serial port on the TE40, TE50, TE60, or TX50.
  2. Start the serial port tool and set information such as the serial port number and baud rate.

    Set the baud rate to 115200.

  3. Start the endpoint. When the interface shown in Figure 7-10 is displayed on the serial port tool, press Ctrl+C repeatedly until Password: is displayed.

  4. Enter the password for logging in to the U-boot system, as shown in Figure 7-11. The default password is 12345678.

    To improve device security, set a password at the first login and regularly change the password afterward. Use the passwd command to change the password. The new password must be a string of eight characters, consisting of digits, letters, and special characters.

  5. Enter the command, as shown in Figure 7-12. For details, see the TE30&TE40&TE50&TE60&TX50&RP100&RP200 Command Reference.
