CE6810-24S2Q-LI

This section describes the function, exterior, ports, indicators, and technical specifications of a CE6810-24S2Q-LI switch.

Function

A CE6810-24S2Q-LI switch provides 10GE ports for node interconnection and communication, and supports 40GE ports for port stack or connection to the front-end network. The CE6810-24S2Q-LI switch can provide twenty-four 10GE SFP+ Ethernet optical ports and two 40GE QSFP+ Ethernet optical ports. Each 40GE QSFP+ Ethernet optical port can be used as four 10GE ports.

  • An alarm is generated on the fan.
  • The board power consumption exceeds the rated power of the power module.

MST indicator

Off

The device is not the primary stacking device.

Steady green

The device is a primary stacking device or is not stacked.

Steady yellow

An error occurs during the selection of a primary stacking device or other types of stacking errors occur.

STAT indicator

Off

The STAT mode is not selected.

Steady green

The link port is normal and activated. The STAT mode is selected by default.

SPEED indicator

Off

The SPEED mode is not selected.

Steady green

The current port rate is being monitored.

STACK indicator

Off

The STACK mode is not selected.

Steady green

The device stacking ID is displayed.

MODE button/ID indicator

The ID indicator is off by default.

ACT indicator

Off

The USB flash drive is not used for deployment by default.

Green

  • Steady on: Deployment is completed using a USB flash drive.
  • Blinking at 0.5 Hz: The data on the USB flash drive is being read.

Steady red

The USB-based deployment fails.

L/A indicator

Off

The link is down.

Green

  • Steady on: The link is normal.
  • Blinking at 15 Hz: The port is receiving or sending data.
STATUS indicator of the power supply

Off

The input is abnormal, such as without power input, overvoltage, and undervoltage, or the output is abnormal, such as undervoltage and overheating.

STATUS indicator of the fan module

Off

The fan module is not operating.

Green

  • Blinking at 0.5 Hz: The fan module is correctly operating and communicating.
  • Blinking at 4 Hz: The fan module is correctly operating but cannot correctly communicate.

Red

  • Steady on: The fan module is faulty.
  • Blinking at 0.5 Hz: An alarm is generated on the fan module. The causes for this problem include DIP switch errors, short circuits, fan blocking, and fan faults.
The MODE button is used to switch the status of a service port indicator. When you press the MODE button once, the SPEED indicator is green on, and the service port indicator shows the transmission speed of a port; when you press the MODE button twice, the STACK indicator is green on, and the service port indicator shows a device stacking ID; when you press the MODE button for the third time, the STAT indicator is green on, and the default setting is restored. If you do not press the button within 45 seconds, the MODE status indicator is automatically restored to the default setting, that is, only the STAT indicator is green on, and the SPEED and STACK indicators are off. Table 15-38 describes the meaning of each service port indicator in different modes.

  • Steady on: The port speed is 1000 Mbit/s.
  • Blinking at 4 Hz: The port speed is 10GE.

STACK

Off

Port indicators do not indicate stacking IDs of corresponding devices.

NOTE:

A maximum of two devices can be stacked. Indicators on ports 1 to 4 are used to indicate the corresponding stacking information of the four devices.

Green

If the indicator of a port is steady on, the port number is the stacking ID of the device.

NOTE:

Only the LINK indicator is green on for the 10GE optical port.
