LB Access Design
In Figure 1, LBs are connected to border leaf nodes in bypass mode at both sides (LBs are connected to spine nodes in bypass mode at both sides when border leaf nodes and spine nodes are converged). LBs are enabled with SNAT and DNAT, and gateways are connected to LBs through VLANIF interfaces or Layer 3 routed interfaces. The topology where LBs are connected to gateways is simple and can be extended as devices in the gateway group increase. When load balancing services need to be flexibly deployed, LBs are connected in Layer 3 mode, and floating IP addresses of LBs are on different network segments of servers, this access solution is recommended.
