Feature Limitations

  • When ALS is enabled and the manual restart mode is configured on physical stack member interfaces, the local interface becomes Up and the peer interface becomes Down if the shutdown and then undo shutdown commands are executed on the peer interface. The two interfaces become Up after the als restart command is executed on the local interface.
  • Only electrical interfaces except management ports support the EEE function. A GE or 10GE optical interface does not support the EEE function even if an SFP-GE electrical module is inserted.
  • The EEE function takes effect only when it is configured on both ends of a link.
  • Only GE electrical ports except management ports support the port dormancy function.
