(Optional) Enabling Protocol Packet Isolation


In a stack containing two devices, when a server sends a VLAN Request packet, two FCoE forwarders (FCFs) respond to the VLAN Request packet. The server then receives two duplicate VLAN Notification packets, prolonging the response and affecting service functions. After the fcoe dual-fabric enable command is executed, Fibre channel Initialization Protocol (FIP) packets do not pass through stack interfaces, implementing protocol packet isolation in dual-plane networking.


  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run fcoe dual-fabric enable

    Protocol packet isolation is enabled.

    By default, protocol packet isolation is disabled.

  3. Run commit

    The configuration is committed.
