Procedure

  • Configure a domain ID.
    1. Run system-view

      The system view is displayed.

    2. Run fcoe fc-instance-name fcf

      An FCoE forwarder (FCF) instance is created and the FCF instance view is displayed.

    3. Run domain-id domain-id

      A domain ID is configured for the FCF instance.

      By default, the domain ID is 2.

    4. Run commit

      The configuration is committed.

  • Configure an FC-MAP value.
    1. Run system-view

      The system view is displayed.

    2. Run fcoe fc-instance-name fcf

      An FCF instance is created and the FCF instance view is displayed.

    3. Run fcmap fc-map

      An FC-MAP value is configured.

      By default, the FC-MAP value is 0x0efc00.

    4. Run commit

      The configuration is committed.

  • Enable the FCF to retain the FC_ID after relogin of the ENode.
    1. Run system-view

      The system view is displayed.

    2. Run fcoe fc-instance-name fcf

      An FCF instance is created and the FCF instance view is displayed.

    3. Run fcid persistent

      The FCF is enabled to retain the FC_ID after relogin of the ENode.

      By default, the FCF is disabled from retaining the FC_ID after relogin of the ENode.

    4. Run commit

      The configuration is committed.
