M-LAG Application in a TRILL Dual-Homing Network

Dual Homing a CE to a TRILL Network

As shown in Figure 1-24, M-LAG is deployed between RB1 and RB2 and nicknames of the two RBs are bound to a DFS group so that the CE is dual-homed to the TRILL network. RB1 and RB2 use the same pseudo nickname to form a logical device, and load balance traffic. When one access link or device fails, traffic can be fast switched to the other link or device.
