Configuring Teachers' TCs

Scenario

This section describes how to configure networks and screen-sharing display on TCs so that the teacher can share the desktop to the students' TCs.

Procedure

Disabling TC protection

NOTE:

The UWF protection is enabled by default on CTx200 systems. On a CTx200 with the UWF protection enabled, any configuration information will be lost after the system is restarted. Therefore, this protection must be disabled when configuring teachers' TCs and enabled after the configuration.

You can use the UWFManager function to view the UWF protection status and determine whether to enable or disable the UWF protection. For Windows TCs of other models, follow the product guides provided by the vendor.

  1. Log in to a teacher's TC, choose Start > UWFManager. The UWF management page is displayed, as shown in Configuring a TC.

    Figure 2-40 UWF Manager

  2. Click UWF disable to disable the system protection.

Disabling the firewall of the TC

Configuring duplicate display

  1. Start the CloudClient.
  2. On the CloudClient page, click . The Settings dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 2-41.

    NOTE:

Configuring Students' TCs

Scenario
This describes how to deliver the login-free function to students' TCs, configure LazeDesk, enable the single-instance mode, and configure duplicate display and shutdown linkage.
  • Deliver the login-free function to students' TCs so that students can log in to the system without entering the password.
  • Configure LazyDesk to ensure that the TC can be used only to log in to the FusionAccess system.
  • Enable the single-instance mode so that the user's login to the original VM will disconnect when the user logs in to another VM.
  • Configure duplicate display so that the teacher can display the teacher's desktop to all students.
  • Configure shutdown linkage so that the TC can be shut down as the VM is properly shut down.
Prerequisites
