Configuring the VNC Login Mode

Configuring the VNC Login Mode

On FusionCompute, configure the virtual network computing (VNC) login mode. You can select the default VNC login mode used by the browser. The configuration takes effect immediately. After you clear the browser cache, the configuration is reset.

You have logged in to the FusionCompute.

  1. On FusionCompute, choose System > System Configuration > VNC Configuration.

The VNC Configuration page is displayed.

  2. Select the VNC login mode in the Login Configuration area.

    • noVNC: The noVNC mode takes a short time in login, provides high security, but requires Internet Explorer 10 or 11, Mozilla Firefox 21 or later, or Google Chrome 27 or later.
    • TightVNC: The TightVNC mode allows VM stopping and restart operations, requires a Java plug-in, but has security risks. When the browser does not support noVNC, TightVNC is used by default.

  3. Click Save.

A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  4. Click OK.

The configuration for the VNC login mode is complete.
