Replacing a TC

Replacing a TC

This section describes how to configure basic information and cloud classroom information for a new TC.

In cloud classroom scenarios, the configuration of teachers' TCs and students' TCs includes configuring LazyDesk, enabling the single-instance mode, and configuring duplicate display and shutdown linkage. The configuration of students' TCs includes configuring the login-free function.

  • Configure LazyDesk to ensure that the TC can be used only to log in to the FusionAccess system.
  • Enable the single-instance mode so that the user's login to the original VM will disconnect when the user logs in to another VM.
  • Configure duplicate display so that the teacher can display the teacher's desktop to all students.
  • Configure shutdown linkage so that the TC can be shut down as the VM is properly shut down.

The operations use a Linux TC as an example.

  • The TC and TCM can communicate with each other, and a takeover is available. In addition, ports 28666 and 28667 have been enabled on the TC.
  • The TC version meets the requirement. If the TC version is not the required one, upgrade it to the required one.
