System Requirements

Prepare a PC or laptop (local computer) for software installation, configuration, and commissioning. Table 2-3 shows the configuration requirements for the local computer.

Network Plan

In a single-classroom scenario, it is recommended that the management plane and service plane be deployed on the same network plane and class B IP addresses in segment and 16-bit mask 255.255.0.0 be used to install the environment and provision VMs, to prevent IP addresses from being used up due to frequent VM provisioning. Do not use IP addresses in the 192.168.0.0 segment to avoid IP address conflict caused by automatic IP address assigning of routers.

Install the DHCP service on FusionAccess infrastructure VMs to allow students' TCs and desktop VMs obtain IP addresses automatically. Teachers' TCs need fixed IP addresses.

  • For a single classroom, the VMs of students and teachers must be set in the same port group.
  • TCs of teachers must be connected to GE ports on the switch.
  • The following serves as an example only. Modify the network segment as required.

Configure the data for network resources according to Table 2-7.
