Creating an Affinity Group
The VMs where eSight is deployed must belong to the same anti-affinity VM group. Before creating a VM, you need to create an affinity group on the ServiceCenter.
Prerequisites
- You have obtained the name and password of user whose role is the VDC administrator.
- You have configured the haproxyIP mapping in the local PC.
For details, see the content about how to configure the haproxyIP mapping in the ManageOne ServiceCenter product documentation.
To obtain the document, perform the following operations:
- Log in to http://support.huawei.com.
- Enter the keywords ManageOne ServiceCenter XXX and click Search.
In the keywords, XXX indicates the corresponding version of ManageOne ServiceCenter.
- Download the ManageOne ServiceCenter product documentation.
Procedure
- Log in to the ServiceCenter as a user whose role is the VDC administrator.
- Enter http://IP address of the ServiceCenter in a single-node system or floating IP address of ServiceCenter in a two-node cluster, and press Enter.
- Enter the user name and password, and click Login.
- Choose Console > Computing > Affinity Group.
- Click Create.
- Set affinity group parameters and click OK.
