Rolling Back the NTP Server Configuration

If any problem occurs when configuring the NTP server, you need to roll back the configuration.


  1. Log in to the eSight server as the root user.
  2. Run the following command to switch to user root.

    > su - root

  3. Access the tool configuration directory.

    # cd eSight installation directory/AppBase/tools/ewl


    In the preceding command, eSight installation directory indicates the actual eSight installation directory. Change it based on the site scenario.

  4. Roll back to the original NTP server.

    # ./

    If the command output shows restore NTP configuration successully., the NTP server is rolled back successfully.
