This topic describes the processes for installing eSight on SUSE Linux in single-node modes in a pre-installation scenario.


In a distributed scenario, the primary server has been pre-installed based on the described operations in this chapter. The distributed server is not pre-installed. If you want to install it, see Installing the eSight System (Full Installation).

Preparing for the Installation

Obtaining eSight Installation Software


Before installing the eSight two-node cluster system, installation personnel should download the installation software packages and digital signature files from the Huawei support website and check the software package integrity to ensure that the downloaded software packages are available.
