  • Perform the following operations on a VMware VM:
    1. Start a VMware VM, choose Getting Started, and click Edit virtual machine settings.
    2. Click the Resources tab, select CPU, set Shares to Normal, and set Reservation to the maximum value.
    3. Choose Memory, select Reserve all guest memory (All locked), and click OK.
    4. Restart the VM.

  • Perform the following operations on a Hyper-V VM:
    1. Stop the Hyper-V VM.
    2. Start the Hyper-V Manager, right-click the target VM, and choose Setting.
    3. Click the Memory tab and set Startup RAM based on specifications. Select Enable Dynamic Memory and set Minimum RAM and Startup RAM to the same value.
    4. Click the Processor tab, set Number of virtual processors based on specifications, set Virtual machine reserve(percentage) to 100, and click OK.
    5. Start the VM.
  • Perform the following operations on a Fusion Sphere VM:
    1. Access the Fusion Sphere management page, click the VM and Template tab, select VM in the left navigation tree, and click the target VM.
    2. Click the Hardware tab, click CPU, set Reserved(MB) to the maximum value, set other parameters based on specifications, and click OK.
    3. Click Memory, set Reserved(MB) to the maximum value, and click OK.
    4. Restart the VM.
