Connecting a device to eSight

Devices can be managed by eSight only after being connected to eSight. Devices can be connected to eSight in three ways: automatic discovery, batch import, and single adding.

(Optional) Commissioning authentication server

eSight offers the following three authentication modes:

  • LDAP authentication: Users can use accounts authenticated by the LDAP authentication server to log in to eSight.
  • RADIUS authentication: Users can use accounts authenticated by the RADIUS authentication server to log in to eSight.
  • Local authentication: Users must use accounts created on eSight to log in to eSight.
